Parky The Joker

Another day over, a real mix bag of events, just what i needed when i got up this morning, snowed in and a lift in a death trap, mind you, got better as the day went on.

Parky's face when that snow ball knocked his helmet off, wish i had had a camera with me, but seeing parky jumping up and down when he set his pants on fire was even funnier, maybe i've got him all wrong. Perhaps he's not that bad to be with after all. only time will tell,

Glad to be home mind you, nice hot cup of Ovelteene while i listen to the Jimmy Clitheroe show on the wireless.

Wonder what tomorrow will bring.

First Day /Back At Home

Phew, thats my first day at work as a copper over and done with, gee my dad never told me there was so much walking involved, my feet are killing me, and my back, keep rubbing it with my hand and it still doesnt feel any better.

Jake my brother has gone out dancing with his girlfriend, Angie is playing out with her mate Jane, just me and my mam here now, resting in me dads old chair by the roaring coal fire, nice cup of ovalteen and toast, god it tastes so good made on my toasting f0rk over the fire, so soft and hot, mmm best toast in the world, feels so good after walking round in the cold and rain all day, me mam's just put the radio on, nice and warm now, snug as a bug in a rug, i do hate having to wait for the valves to warm up when you switch the radio on, takes ages.

Still on the whole the day went alright, not so sure about PC Parky, think im going to have to watch him, early night tonight, got to be up at 6am, i wonder what i have let myself in for with this job, but if my dad could do it for 26 years, so can i.

thats all for now
